Technical Scrutineering & Testing

Bikes may be tested at any round.

The top three finishers in each class will undergo random inspection and dyno testing.

Power is measured at the wheel (kW) for accuracy — this reflects real-world output, not just factory-rated motor power.

Manufacturers often quote peak power (short bursts) rather than constant power (sustained). Measuring at the wheel ensures true comparability across all makes and models.

Factors such as controller settings, voltage, gearing and drivetrain efficiency all affect final output — typically reducing the motor’s rated wattage by 10–25 % at the wheel.
